As I understand it redlining prohibited restriction of loans to specific areas. I don’t think it had anything to do with forcing bankers to give loans to unqualified borrowers.

tonioah asked: I am a Realtor and was wondering if it is legal to assist people obtain a Forberance Agreement, Loan Modification, Partial Claim…in order to avoid a Foreclosure and get paid upfront fees for doing so?….The fees are reembursed if nothing gets approved…would these services be legal? Hint asked: Can they come after my other property which is a twinplex on the same street if they foreclose on recently purchased home. Borrowed $174.900.00 Nov. 2007 paid down to $150.000.00 The twinplex is in both my name and common law wifes name in ohio. What are te chances. Can i quit claim the deed on the twinplex into her name only and be safe or am i doomed
